Get Out the Vote (GOTV) is a non-partisan student-led initiative with the support of University of Miami’s administration. The purpose is to reach out to the student population with a misson of voter education, voter registration and encouraging students to become involved in the political process.
Voter Ambassadors encourage students to register to vote on campus. Ambassadors are students, faculty and staff that are committed to the mission of GOTV and want to help support voter education and increase voter registration and turnout.

Opportunities are available to students, faculty, and staff to allow the UM community to engage and promote civic learning and democratic engagement.

Committed to civic learning and democratic engagement, the University of Miami is designated as a Voter Friendly Campus through Campus Vote Project and NASPA. UM is a member of the ACC DemocrAACy Network and signed the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge 2020 Presidential Commitment.
